Our Application Process

We want to get to know our applicants as a student and as a person. Our application thoroughly evaluates your past academic experiences, knowledge, and goals so that we can best build our curriculums and services around you. WHO MUST APPLY: Old Lenox Ed students who have not attended classes/tutoring for one semester or more are considered new students and must reapply. Applications are required for any new student looking to register for a class, package, or one-on-one tutoring.

1.

Fill out the New Student Application: You will need to provide necessary personal information, most recent report card, standardized test scores (ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.). Both student and parents should be ready to answer questions concerning the student’s academic goals and aptitude.

2.

Acquire two recommendations: We require one from a teacher and one from your principal or mentor of choice. Inside the application form, you will find the links to send to your teachers and mentors. Continue with your application once you have confirmed your recommenders received the links.

3.

Reach out for the next steps: Once you have completed the form, reach out to the Lenox Ed assistant, Sabrina Yeh at sabrinayehh@gmail.com to schedule an exam and interview.

4.

Take the entrance exam: After you have scheduled your next steps with us, you will take entrance exam(s) depending on what class/service you are interested in. We test our new students so that we can accurately assess their skill level and build our curriculums and lessons accordingly.

5.

Meet with us for an interview: You will promptly be invited to an online interview with Ms. Beverly, our founder and curriculum designer. In this meeting, we aim to better understand your goals and character.

6.

Receive our decision letter: Congratulations! You have completed the application process. In up to 2-weeks time, we will send you our decision of your acceptance in a letter or email.
