VINOD RUPPA-KASANI ADMITTED
TO LSM PROGRAM AT UPENN!
We have exciting news to share! Vinod Ruppa-Kasani, a long-time student of Lenox Ed, was recently accepted into UPenn's prestigious Life Science Management (LSM) program.
Each year, only 24 supremely accomplished students from around the world are invited to be part of this dual-degree program administered jointly between Penn's College of Arts & Sciences and the Wharton School of Business. The interdisciplinary curriculum combines bioscience and business and will lead Vinod to the completion of two degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in a life science major, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics. The intense preparation at this elite university will give Vinod the foundation and network he needs to make significant contributions to the realization of innovations in the life science sector.
Lenox Ed was honored to assist Vinod with his college applications and essays this past year as one of our College Mentorship Package students. When asked what he was most looking forward to at UPenn, Vinod told us, "I'm excited to meet all the new people with niche interests in the LSM program!" Knowing Vinod as we do, we are confident that they will be blessed to meet him too!

Using two articles that Scope provided, Ivy wrote an expository essay comparing the rise in popularity of tacos and spaghetti and meatballs in the United States during the 1950s and '60s. The judges were impressed and specifically complimented her by saying, "We loved the way you used quotations to support your arguments. Great work!"

Lenox Ed writing class students work on competition entries at the beginning of every semester and submit them to various writing contests. We are thrilled that Ivy's progress and hard work were recognized by Scope's judges!
