Code of Conduct

Rules for Students

Students must be kind and courteous in all interactions with teachers and fellow students. Students' parents will be notified if these standards are not upheld. Parents or students who are rude or disrespectful towards Lenox Ed teachers, staff, or students will be dismissed from Lenox Ed services without tuition refund.

Media Usage Agreement

This media usage agreement is for promotional materials and class media. Please note that this agreement must be signed before a student can be registered for a class.

Grades and Attendance Policies

When makeup classes are made available, tuition will not be subject to refund. Lenox Education and Consulting reserves the right to reschedule, cancel, or combine classes without notice. Also, before registering for a full semester, students may pay for one class as a trial. Tuition and registration fees are applied to the semester specified and must be used within the designated semester. However, they are transferable to a new student to be used within designated semester. Results from services are not guaranteed. Any rude, disrespectful, disruptive, and/or immoral behavior on the part of the student or on the part of any member of a student’s family will result in immediate dismissal without refund from all Lenox Education and Consulting programs, classes, and clubs. Clients wishing to cancel or reschedule a one-on-one or college counseling session must give 24-hours' notice in order to avoid being responsible for the cost of the reserved session.

Homework Policies

In order for students to gain the most benefit from the class, students are required to do all assigned homework. However, at a parent’s request, homework will not be mandatory for class participation. In-Class Assessment is used to determine which class a student should participate in and will help teachers make informed decisions about study plans.

Responsibilities Preparation / Homework

Students should come to class with pencil, blue pen, paper, class materials, and a device which can connect to classroom Wi-Fi. All homework must be completed thoroughly and uploaded to the class site to receive an accurate grade and teacher corrections.

Presence within the Class for Online Classes

Students should be ready to interact at all times and not log out prematurely. Cameras are to be left on while class is in session.

We promise to post media which presents a positive environment. To preserve the dignity of our students and clients as much as possible.

Guidelines & Suggestions / Helpful Tips for Increased Success

Use a blue pen to take notes in class. Turn in all homework before class, so you can get live feedback from your teacher. Read your essays aloud to help you catch mistakes in syntax, structure, and grammar. This will also make you more acutely aware of typos. Sleep well before classes, so your brain is rested and ready to be a sponge!
